The Violinist’s Revenge

A courageous quest to avenge the Nazi who destroyed her family

About

Auschwitz stole her family.

Now she wants revenge.

When gifted violinist Anneliesa Lang escapes the horrors of Auschwitz, she carries with her only two things — the memory of her beloved sister Lily and a burning hatred for the Nazi general who ordered her family's execution.

Otto von Wächter has escaped justice.

Protected by powerful friends and hidden behind the Vatican's secret escape routes, the Nazi war criminal is determined to disappear into post-war Europe.

But Anneliesa refuses to let him.

From the horrors of Auschwitz to Sweden, Vienna and Rome, her desperate search becomes a dangerous pursuit across a continent still scarred by war. As she closes in on the man responsible for destroying her family, she discovers that revenge may demand the ultimate sacrifice.

A gripping WWII historical thriller about an Auschwitz survivor, a Nazi war criminal and one woman's courageous quest for justice.

For readers who enjoy Auschwitz historical fiction, WWII thrillers, Holocaust survival stories, female-led historical suspense and tales of revenge against the Nazis.

Praise for this book

A masterclass in blending fact and fiction makes this a compelling real-life wartime read. Exciting and fast-paced and ending on an unexpected high note.

Such a great book! I've read Vic Robbie's previous works, and this was nothing short of excellent, too!
Really recommend

Another “can’t put me down” book from Vic Robbie! I was with the heroine all the way through her journey. It was nail bitingly tense at times and the discomfort and horror she witnessed on the way seeped into my skin. But there were certainly plenty of joyous moments too. It’s an extraordinarily good read on a very painful time in our history, but handled adeptly by the author. I would definitely recommend.

WOW! “The Violinist's Revenge” Is a thoroughly exciting and gripping story based on actual events. As the author builds his historically detailed storyline around one family, the reader is drawn into their journey of unimaginable pain, loss, and the ever present reality of certain death.
The heart of this novel centers on the courage, determination and strength of the human spirit as Annaliesa Lang searches for answers as to the whereabouts and fate of her family. Her bravery, coupled with human desperation, lands her in several nail-biting encounters with the enemy, which had me on pins and needles.
I found “The Violinist’s Revenge” to be a thrilling roller coaster ride, which evoked a wide range of emotions from A to Z. I highly recommend this book and look forward to more books by Vic Robbie!
